Surely SOMEONE can show off their smarts and 'come to the rescue' and identify this remote, people free, scenic, paved road adjacent, southern California -- ?Malibu vicinity? ?Ventura County? -- beach. Multiple, extended scenes of the 'Paradise Bay' episode of Christopher George's 1970 adventure series on ABC "The Immortal" [decades later repeated on SciFi / Syfy) are seen here on RUclips, courtesy of Nostalgia Videos, at (copy-and-paste-and-search/go) ruclips.net/video/LuThyDkN3mg/видео.html 03:31 - 03:36 High vantage view of Chris George's vintage Mustang driving beach road along DESERTED beach. 18:02 - 18:27 Closer view of driving with camera turning to show reverse view mid scene. 02:00 - 02:14 Viewers see approach to this road as car traveling intersecting road apparently coming out of a canyon makes a 90-degree left turn (i.e., going right on screen) past street signs (lettering not legible) towards the gate (?real or set decoration?) with houses evident atop bluff. 23:50 - 24:50 POV of end of beach road as George's Mustang approaches and stops. He exits car and walks -- with eerily deserted beach 'as far as the eye can see' -- towards a surf rental wood shack, obviously set decoration. Then guest star Tisha Sterling descends the foot path coming out of the cliff / wall region and crosses to structure and George. Interestingly the foot path looks like the one at Westward Beach -- but it's not Westward Beach's. 44:00 - 44:40 Vicinity of surf rental shack; action shots of rocks at water's edge where Ms. Sterling, or her stunt double most likely, runs up, through them and leaps off; stopping long enough to heave a rock with evil intent atop George. 50:00 - 50:38 The 'tag' of 'Paradise Bay' where no ID necessary here. This helicopter captured aerial view, in pre-drone days, shows us The Immortal / Christopher George's character, Ben Richards, walking along a surfers-free and beachgoers-free Surfrider Beach and past Malibu Pier with an enviously, lightly-trafficked Pacific Coast Highway. Unfortunately -- or fortunately depending on how one approaches its effectiveness for story purposes -- the footage has an intentionally bleached-out look.
